This is a brief description of  how to incorporate reading scientific literature, writing a scientific research paper, and making a professional presentation into a physiology course.  It is a effective way to help students go beyond simply memorizing material for tests on a topic of their chosing.  It also promotes interaction among students because of the collaborative parts of the activity.
