Description This narrated simulation shows the spread of a favorable mutation through a population of pocket mice. Even a small selective advantage can lead to a rapid evolution of the population. Also included with the simulation are background information and teaching tips for using the simulation.

I have viewed the video and resources that go along with this  case adn I can envision using this with both my regular and AP biology students. The video is short and engaging and there are great supplemental resources that help enhance this lesson to be a key part of an evolution unit. THere are also advanced resoruces for looking at mutations and protein structure that can be used with AP Biology
