This resource clearly describes a common misconception among students about renal clearance, and it outlines a classroom demonstration to correct this misconception. This reference gave me good insight as to why my students struggle with the concept of renal clearance, and it also describes a pretty easy demonstration to help correct this misconception.
Terri Holzen, Mount Mary University
This resource is devoted to gaging learning and identifying misconceptions. The authors talk about studies defining what students percieve about renal clearance. This looks like a good reference for assessing my own teaching and determining what the students are really learning.
