Description A recorded interview in both english and spanish with Johana Vallejo-Elias, PhD. Dr. Vallejo-Elias is an Assistant Professor of Human Physiology at Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and studies insulin resistance. In this video, Dr. Vallejo-Elias describes her research and how it impacts human health, what sparked her interest in science, and gives advice to students who are interested in pursuing a career in physiology.
