Description Oxygen at Altitude is a program designed for students who are learning respiratory physiology. It lets you simulate the effects of a wide range of altitudes on a number of things including the partial pressures of oxygen and carbon dioxide in our alveoli and the oxygen content in arterial blood. A student or instructor can also set values for the rate of alveolar ventilation and the percentage of oxygen being breathed. Simulations include mountain climbing, flying on commercial airlines, a sudden loss of cabin pressure, and others.
