This is the first year that our campus has decided to place a stronger emphasis in the use of technology in the classroom. The result is quite a mixture. Majority of the students were exposed to a richer learning environment, although a handful was “distracted” and overwhelmed by what the online sites could provide. As with traditional instruction, academic dishonesty is still a persistent issue.

James, You might want to repost this over in the LifeSciTRC Scholars & fellows area as that is where Blackboard is directing this discussion.

 Really your post is really very good and I appreciate it. It’s hard to sort the good from the bad sometimes.You definitely put a new spin on a topic thats been written about for years.
