Collection Description This collection provides ideas for teaching about the structure and function of DNA to high school biology students. This collection is appropriate for classrooms without biotechnology equipment. ![]() Describe how this collection was used. This collection was used to enhance and describe topics related to DNA structure and function. I do not have equipment to do gel electrophoresis or PCR or other biotechnology experiments, so I collected activities and resources that would help students understand more DNA and biotechnology. ![]() Describe who used this collection (classroom, laboratory, education level, etc). High school biology classroom. ![]() Describe how this collection works. This collection has an animation, a lab manual, two activities related to DNA coiling, and a link to more resources. It is intended to enhance instruction on DNA. ![]() Please enter suggestions for colleagues.
