Description The Rabies monograph looks in detail at the disease, from the historical, physiological, virological and epidemiological perspectives. It also traces the increasing understanding of rabies, the development of treatments and vaccines, and the latest (as of 2005) scientific and medical knowledge of the disease. Included is an explanation of the human-animal link in both transmission of the disease and in the development of treatments. The monograph includes a glossary.
